Norton Taylor Nunn secured permission for our clients at Brent Planning Committee on the 10th of June, following a lengthy battle with Brent planners over the details on a scheme for four flats above shops in Wembley, London, UK.
Our client sought planning permission for a number of new apartments above shops at Ealing Road, Wembley, maximising the yield from his site and providing much needed accommodation for Brent. The proposals echo the existing designs along Ealing Road, with the late Mathan Coomaraswamy, of Jet View Properties, leading architect for the project.
The main concerns raised by planners had been the Bowrons Avenue elevation, and the impact on light for the rear windows of existing dwellings above shops on Ealing Road. We worked with Mach Group to identify that the daylight and sunlight concerns raised by planners were not substantiated and our client has now been granted planning permission.
If you have a similar scheme that you think would benefit from our assistance, please call us on 01473 316702. Let’s build something together.
